That's how you cook a turkey. It really, as far as I can tell, has nothing to do with the song. I really like turkey. Yum. This tune has a fun, versatile head, so has been around a while. The phrase is five notes played in 4/4 so the one cycles thru on a different note of the phrase each time, but ask Heather to be sure.
